Research interests: language acquisition, computational modeling, crosslinguistic psycholinguistics, syntax, morphology, corpus building

I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. I am working with Sharon Goldwater on computational models of language acquisition and tools to build corpora of child directed speech in understudied languages

Previously I was at Masha Polinsky's lab in the Harvard Linguistics department, beginning the corpus collection project and also analyzing the syntax of the biabsolutive construction in Nakh-Dagestanian languages, investigating the acquisition of relative clauses in Q'anjob'al with Pedro Mateo Pedro and conducting behavioral experiments looking at the representation of noun class/grammatical gender.

In grad school I worked with Jeff Lidz in the Project on Children's Language Learning at UMD on the acquisition of noun classes, novel word learning and the acquisition of filler gap dependencies, and Naomi Feldman on computational modeling of noun classification and word learning.
