I am a Research Associate in Machine Learning for Knowledge Acquisition based in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. I am a member of the Institute for Language, Cognition and Computation (ILCC) and I work for the EU Xperience project, led by Prof. Mark Steedman.

I completed my PhD thesis, titled ''Decision shaping and strategy learning in multi-robot interactions'', in 2013, under the supervision of Dr. Subramanian Ramamoorthy and Prof. D.K. Arvind. During my PhD, I was a member of the Robust Autonomy and Decisions Group, within the Institute of Perception, Action and Behaviour (IPAB).

My research interests lie in developing learning algorithms for autonomous robots, particularly those that must interact with and influence other agents, such as in the context of human-robot interaction. I have extensive experience working with real robots as a founding member of Edinburgh Informatics Team Edinferno, the first UK team to participate in the RoboCup Standard Platform League (SPL), reaching the quarterfinals of the competition in 2012. I am also interested and have previously published work on statistical inference algorithms for wireless sensor network data.
