Cricket ears circuit

Crickets have ears on their forelegs. They are joined by a tracheal tube that causes them to act as a pressure difference receiver, so they are strongly directional for appropriate sounds.

The electronic circuit we have devised mimicks the tracheal tube behaviour by delaying sound from different inputs and re-combining it as it would be combined at the eardrums of the cricket.
