About Me

Welcome to my homepage. I am currently researching the use of unsupervised machine learning techniques to model complex systems, at the University of Edinburgh . To navigate this site please use the link on the left-hand side-panel.
I completed a PhD in particle physics also at the university in 2009. My research involved analysis of Bs decays at the LHCb experiment (CERN). More details on this can be found here .
Before starting my PhD, I studied for a Bsc in Physics at the University of Aberdeen graduating in 2004. After which, I spent a year working as a Medical physicist within the Photobiology Unit, at Ninewells Hospital. The work involving clinical and experimental research into the cancer treatment, Photodynamic Therapy.
