1. Welcome to our new programmer, Gergely Bakos

    April 2013

He will develop personalised communication aid applications, which integrate our novel speech synthesis technology and run on mobile phone and tablet devices including the iPhone and iPad.

  2. Voice delivery - trials and feedback

    March 2013

We are now starting to deliver patients' voices on a monthly basis. This delivery will allow us to collect data and feedback on some of the synthesised voices we have created so far. While we are still in the research stage of the project, we hope that by having patients interact with the project and provide valuable feedback, we can use this information to strengthen our processes/prototype.

  3. Opening of the Anne Rowling Clinic

    January 2013

Located at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, the clinic is named after author J.K. Rowling's mother, who suffered from Multiple Sclerosis, following a 10M pounds donation from Ms. Rowling herself. The clinic focuses research on a wide range of neurological conditions and aims to improve quality of life for patients through research. These conditions include Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson's Disease and related conditions, and dementia.
