I have recently started my own company, called Speech Graphics with my colleague Michael Berger. We are providing Audio-driven animation solutions for the video games industry.
I am a research fellow at the Centre for Speech Technology (CSTR) in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh.
My main research interests are the simulation of expressive behaviour and communication. Currently, I am involved in the Social Signal Processing Network of Excellence.
For my PhD I worked on automatic speech-driven Animation using Multimodal Hidden Markov Models. Some examples of my work can be found here.
For my MSc I was working on emotional speech synthesis. Some example output of the speech synthesiser can be found here.
I am also co-chairing the BMVA one day meeting on Facial Analysis and Animation
