Abstract
This report web-site details and chronicles my involvement in the development of an integrated system dubbed "Tiresias" or "Tiresias Integrated Realtime Electronic Supplier of Information About Surroundings".Initially an introduction is made, setting the author within the context of the project and giving an outline of the task put before the group. Next, the motivations for developing such a system are outlined, followed by an overview of the initial design and justification for the decisions made therein. The report then gives a full account of those system modules for which the author was directly involved in design and implementation, sometimes exclusively; each relevant system module is covered with requirements, specification, design and evaluation sections to detail the functionality of the module, along with any limitations of the present implementation. Finally, a round-up conclusion and evaluation is made as to the effectiveness of the project as a whole, and suggestions are made as to where it could be bettered in a future iteration.
