RIP John Peel. John died on 26th October in Peru. He will be sadly, sadly missed. Our condolences and best wishes to his family and friends.
mp3 downloads of songs that
John Peel has
featured on his Radio 1 show recently. All these tracks have
been made made available by the bands or record labels themselves,
they don't involve Kazaa or anonymous postings to
alt.binaries.sounds or anything like that. The idea is
that if you like the track, you'll buy some of their records, which
seems pretty sound to me.
N.B. The list is now split into three: 2002-3 2001 2000 and earlier.
mp3.
This site is permanently "under construction" - if you find a track
that's been on the show freely and legitimately available for download
somewhere, please email me
the url so I can add it to the list, and credit you in
the changelog. After all, the more people
listen to this music, the better the world becomes. And please let me
know if a link is broken, too. Cheers.
By the way, I don't make money out of this site in any way, and it's also totally unofficial and nothing to do with the BBC. Why the greeting in French? It's a long story...

mp3 isn't the session version,
it's the album version.mp3s here.
