Information on Accommodation

Accommodation for attendees at IMMI-1 will be available either in Edinburgh University premises at Mylne's Court, or in local hotels.

Mylne's Court

Mylne's Court offers visitors to Edinburgh something rather special -- comfortable, value-for-money accommodation right in the heart of the historic Old Town, close to the Castle, the High Kirk of St. Giles and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Built in the 1690s, Mylne's Court has been restored to 20th century standards -- without losing any of its period charm. Comfortable bedrooms offer single or twin accommodation, with meals served in Rainy Hall, built early this century but with all the atmosphere of a medieval banqueting hall. Early booking is strongly recommended. This accommodation is not recommended for the infirm or disabled, as there are no elevators.

The cost of accommodation in Mylne's Court is 19.95 pounds UK sterling per night.

Mylne's Court is located on the Lawnmarket (part of the Royal Mile). Alternative accommodation is available at the University's Pollock Halls of Residence, single rooms with en-suite facilities being 29.95 pounds per night.
