CISA seminars are traditionally held on , for which we have a regular room booking (room 4.31) although we sometimes end up having them on other days and in other rooms (which need to be booked by the organiser via the CISA secretaries).
Regular seminars include: PhD students 1st year thesis proposal talk (end of their first year), PhD students 3rd year thesis talk, the work being investigated by visiting researchers, and new papers or research topics pursued by staff in CISA.
The seminar organisers also invite researchers outwith the university, although anyone in CISA is also welcome to suggest people to invite. Anyone who would like to help organise a seminar is welcome to, but do let the organisers know in order to avoid clashes and ensure the website is up to date.
Visiting speakers usually book/arrange their own accomodation, liasing with the CISA secretaries. CISA covers travel and accomodation within the UK, see the information for speakers, which includes a list of suggested accomodation.
To add or edit information about talks go to the talks editor (if you have the password), or email the seminar organiser (see below for who they are).
Check room bookings to make sure you have the room you expect; get this to start from 30 mins before the talk until 30 after.
