Le Zhang, PhD, University of Edinburgh
Sun set from Calton Hill, Edinburgh. 8.30pm, 8th September, 2006.
In 2008 I finished my PhD at the Centre for Speech Technology Research. As its name suggests, people in CSTR do many interesting researches in speech processing, and my research at CSTR focuses on New Acoustic Models (Trajectory HMM in acoustic modelling), with Steve Renals being my supervisor, and Miles Osborne as my second supervisor.
I currently work as a Scientist at Raytheon BBN Technologies.
I am interested in computer and used to program a lot. In my spare time, I like writing programs. Some of them can make people's life in cyberspace easier, some are just written for fun. They can be found on my Software page.
