Current Project

Personification Using Affective Speech Synthesis

I am currently CTO of edinburgh based speech synthesis company Cereproc and I have a Royal Society Industrial Fellowship currently supporting my research at the University of Edinburgh. The project personify is investigating the relationship between expressive speech synthesis and the ability to create a sense of personality and presence in embodied conversational agents.
