Two benchmark scenes were chosen. The first is a simpler
scene, but in an industrial context, containing planar walls and floors and
a small amount of pipework and industrial vessels. This data was acquired
from the assembly area at UKR and is now being made available to all
network partners.
The second dataset is of a heritage scene, namely from one of the
unusual circular churches on Denmark's Bornholm Island (off the southern
coast of Sweden). Data collection from this site was made in March 1999.
This data was distributed on CDrom to all partners.
The data consists of: range images with registered monochrome infrared intensity
imagery, high-resolution digital still images and standard camcorder video.
