Sensor position estimation from range data

  Many range sensors produce data sets where the sensor position is unknown. Alternatively, data sets are acquired from different sources, where again the sensor position is unknown. UOE has developed a process based on an analysis of the depth discontinuities in the scene, that estimates viewer position, accurate to a few millimetres in the Bornholm church data set.
