Model and Strategy

  In this Section, parts of a model and a strategy are presented, which represent state of the art ideas of how to extract roads from aerial imagery. Additionally, references to approaches, that utilize a part of the model or the strategy especially well are given. Their order shows how well they make use of a part of the model or the strategy in relation to each other. After presenting the parts of the model and the strategy, issues that need to be addressed are highlighted.
