CVonline: Citation of Contents

There is no official way to cite this sort of constantly updated on-line material. However, a way to cite material is necessary, and it is appropriate to give credit to the original authors of the material as well. So, I propose that you use an adapted form of the American Psychological Association (APA) Embellished Style suggested in the book: Li, X., and Crane, N. B. (1996). Electronic styles: A Handbook for citing electronic information (Revised edition). Medford, NJ: Information Today. [ISBN: 1-57387-027-7].

The style is:

contributing author(s). section name. Available: section URL. In CVonline: On-Line Compendium of Computer Vision [Online]. R. Fisher (ed). Available: "http://homepages.inf.ed.ac.uk/rbf/CVonline/". [year, month and day of access].

where the text in italics is for you to substitute.

Another resource to consider is Melvin E. Page's A brief citation guide for internet sources in history and the humanities (Version 2.1).
