About me

I am a third-year PhD student in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh.

I am a member of the Institute of Perception, Action and Behaviour and I work under the supervision of Dr. Subramanian Ramamoorthy in the Robust Autonomy and Decisions Group.

I am also affiliated to and funded by the Speckled Computing Group, whose Director, Professor D.K. Arvind, is my second supervisor.

My research focuses on autonomous decision making in adversarial environments, and in particular those characterised by both sensory and strategic uncertainty. This interest is closely coupled with my involvement in Team Edinferno, the first UK team to participate in the RoboCup Standard Platform League. I am also interested in applications of wireless sensor networks related to the statistical analysis of motion and human-robot interaction.

I graduated in 2009 with a BSc in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, also from the University of Edinburgh. I am originally from Athens, Greece, where I attended Psychico College, graduating in 2005 with an International Baccalaureate diploma.
