Welcome
I am currently a third year PhD student in the Institute for Language, Cognition and Computation (ILCC) in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. I am working on text genre classification across languages and topics under the supervision of Bonnie Webber and Victor Lavrenko. More generally, I am interested in the areas of text mining, information retrieval, multilingual language processing and domain adaptation for NLP. At the moment, I am the teaching assistant for the Text Technologies MSc course. Also, I am a member of the Text Analysis and Presentation reading group.
I moved to Edinburgh for my MSc in Artificial Intelligence in 2008. Before that, I graduated from Universities in England and Germany.
