My name is Fabrício and I'm currently a PhD student at the Informatics School of the University of Edinburgh under the supervision of Dr. Marcelo Cintra and Dr. Murray Cole. I was born in Brazil in a city called Belo Horizonte. I have been also a professor in Brazil. Here, I will report the progress of my research on Speculative Skeleton-based Parallel Programming for Software Transactional Memory. My research is supported by The University of Edinburgh Overseas Research Scholarship, Scottish Informatics and Computer Science Alliance Award (SICSA) and School of Informatics Scholarship.
