I’m a lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology, University of Malaya. I obtained my MSc Comp. Sc. in 2002 from Universiti Sains Malaysia. I was involved in Malaysia National Grid Computing Initiatives and the design of Malaysia National Grid Roadmap, and appointed as a technical committee member of KnowledgeGrid Malaysia.

Currently, I’m pursuing my PhD in University of Edinburgh under supervision of Malcolm Atkinson, Murray Cole and Jano van Hemert, and attached to the Edinburgh Data-Intensive Research group, which sits in the School of Informatics of the University of Edinburgh and is a part of the UK’s National e-Science Centre. My research is looking into workflow optimisation using parallel streaming technology and is contributing to a EU project: Advance Data Mining and Integration Research for Europe (ADMIRE).
