I am currently a third year Ph.D. student in the Computer Graphics and Visualisation (CGV) group, a part of the Institute of Perception, Action and Behaviour (IPAB) in the School of Informatics at University of Edinburgh. My research interests include multi-character animation for media such as movies and computer games, artificial intelligence, and robotics. My current work under my supervisor Dr. Taku Komura focuses on complex motion and close-contact interactions between individuals as well as groups of characters. I am being funded by a grant from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).
Before my Ph.D. I earned my M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence specialising in Intelligent Robotics at the University of Edinburgh. Prior to this I received a first-class B.Sc.(Hons) in Biomedical Sciences (Neuroscience) at Cardiff University.
I was born and raised near Winchester in the south of England and am very fortunate to have a family who provide me with the freedom and motivation to pursue my interests.
