I am a PhD student working on Statistical Machine Translation (SMT) at the University of Edinburgh, supervised by Philipp Koehn. My research interests include exploiting the syntactic and semantic structures of text to improve translation quality. I primarily work with the open-source SMT toolkit Moses.

Previously I have worked as a HIWI at DFKI Saarbrücken where I did my MSc Thesis on improving the quality of translations for the English - German language pair. I have also done a
summer internship at the Human Language Technology research unit in FBK Trento, where I studied using class based language models to predict unseen word level n-grams.

You can look at my CV for more information or google me (I am not the London based model :) ).
