About Me

I am a member of Machine Learning Group in ANC, School of Informatics, The Univeristy of Edinburgh, and a PhD scholar of Microsoft Research Cambridge.

My supervisor is Dr. Amos J. Storkey.

My main research topic is Machine Learning Markets. Please check this short introduction given by Amos. In current stage we are focusing on mechanism design and theoretical analysis.

I am also interested in various topics in machine learning and statistics, including but not limited to probabilistic modelling, Bayesian inference, model combination, optimisation, crowdsourcing.

Pre-PhD Life

  • I finished my MSc degree in Artificial Intelligence with distinction, at The University of Edinburgh (2011-2012). My master's thesis is on model combination.
  • Before that I studied Physics at Peking University during 2007-2011. In the bachelor's project I worked on simulation of Inertial Confinement Fusion.
