Research: My work is in graph compression, using hyperedge replacement grammars to achieve a smaller (grammar based) representation of the input graph. I am generally interested in computation on compressed structures, particularly using formal languages.

Hobbies: Photography (portfolio), hiking/camping, cooking, and a variety of sports
