Downloading and installing The Bio-PEPA Eclipse Plugin


Required update sites:

Quick Start guide for installation

Being based on Eclipse, the Bio-PEPA Eclipse Plug-in should work on any machine that has Java 1.5 or above.
  1. Download Eclipse. Any version of Eclipse should work, so the Eclipse IDE for Java Developers is recommended based on it's smaller size.
  2. Install the BIRT Chart Framework from the Birt update site.
  3. Install the Eclipse Bio-PEPA Plug-in from the Bio-PEPA update site.

Steps 2 and 3 can be performed together, just ensure you download the BIRT Chart Framework. Due to a recent dependency issue Eclipse will not download all the required plug-ins required to display results in the typical automated fashion.
