Subramanian Ramamoorthy

I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the School of Informatics at The University of Edinburgh. I am affiliated with the Institute of Perception, Action and Behaviour and the Informatics Life Sciences Institute.

My research is centred on problems of autonomous learning and decision making over time by long-lived agents that interact with a continually changing world which typically includes other decision making agents, such as people. This work is motivated by applications in robotics and in other domains involving interactive decision making among autonomous agents and people.

Previously, I was at the Artificial Intelligence Lab in The University of Texas at Austin. Also, I spent several years working with National Instruments Corp. in the control design, dynamic simulation and computer vision groups.
