4.4 Creating a new project

From the File menu choose New \ensuremath{\rightarrow } Project...

This will launch the New Project wizard and you should choose General \ensuremath{\rightarrow } Project to create a new project where you will store your Bio-PEPA models. Choose Next and give your project a name such as Bio-PEPA-Examples. Choose Finish. You now have a project which you can see in the Navigator view.

You now should see that the file is opened in the editor and that the Problems view reports a problem with the file because it is an empty file, and does not contain any Bio-PEPA definitions. Let us fix this problem by entering a very small and simple model. This simple model will describe a species $S$ which decays away to nothing.
