Arin Wongprommoon

PhD Student

Arin is a PhD student funded by an Edinburgh Global Research Scholarship and by the School of Biological Sciences. He graduated in 2019 from the University of Cambridge with a BSc in Natural Sciences (Biochemistry). Arin's research interests include systems and synthetic biology, and computational approaches to biochemical systems. His doctoral project examines the Saccharomyces cerevisiae metabolic cycle -- characterised by oscillations in intracellular metabolite levels -- and utilises single-cell data for time series classification and clustering, in collaboration with Peter Swain's lab at the School of Biological Sciences.
