Guiyang Xin is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in robotics at the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, where he is also a Member of the Institute of Perception, Action and Behaviour. His research focuses on issues relevant to dexterous movement of legged robots, including operational space control, optimization-based control, trajectory optimization. Previously, he was a visiting student at the Edinburgh Centre for Robotics, and a Ph.D. student at the State Key Laboratory of High Performance Complex Manufacturing in Changsha, China.
