Shuo Li is a Postdoctoral Research Associate. His research interests include robotics, visual navigation, micro air vehicles and legged robots. At the University of Edinburgh, he mainly works on footstep planning and trajectory generation on uncertain terrains for quadruped robots. Previouly, he mainly focused on the challenge of autonomous drone race. In 2019, he developed the world’s smallest autonomous racing drone which only weighted 72g and flew with the average speed of 2m/s while the weight of the competitors’ drones ranged from 400g to 2kg.
