sports lighting, and retail displays.
These lamps combine good color rendering with high effiency and long life.
Other options to consider
Rarely will applications using metal halide be candidates for changing to
another system.
To improve energy efficiency the best strategies are to use high-efficiency
lamps, delamp some luminaires if a space is overlit, and control the hours
of use.
