DERMOFIT Project Datasets

Access to datasets from locations other than the University of Edinburgh

The images can be used for academic research only, and can be downloaded with a small fee and contract. The images are normal RGB captured with a quality SLR camer under controlled (ring flash) indoor lighting. There are 1300 images total of these types: Actinic Keratosis (AK): 45, Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC): 239, Melanocytic Nevus / Mole (ML): 331, Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC) sample 88, Seborrhoeic Keratosis (SK): 257, Intraepithelial carcinoma (IEC): 78, Pyogenic Granuloma (PYO): 24, Haemangioma (VASC): 96, Dermatofibroma (DF): 65, Melanoma (MEL): 76.

You can enter into, pay for, and download the images for academic research via our Dermofit Click-thru Website.

Please note: as this is an academic research licence it will need to be entered into by your research institution. For this reason, it might be more appropriate for the request to be placed by a faculty member. In addition, the licence agreement will need to be approved (online) by an authorised representative of your institution before the order can be completed. In the case of academic institutions, this is normally an officer from your Research Services, Technology Transfer or Contracts/Legal Office. We therefore strongly recommend that you liaise with appropriate colleagues prior to initiating your Click-thru application to avoid any problems down the line.
