This is the first of a series of tutorials on different topics in computer vision to be produced by the European Computer Vision Network
This tutorial has been prepared by James L. Crowley, professeur, ENSIMAG, I.N.P.G.
This tutorial is organised in a hierarchical manner. The root and branches are in outline form for easy browsing. The leaves of the tree contain text, images and video-sequences for more in-depth understanding of the subject. Also included are pointers to published papers which may be copied and printed.
