Projects

  • 2017-2022 work on the TransModal project.
  • From October 2014 to December 2016, I worked for the WebNLG project which aims to develop novel technologies for generating text from knowledge bases and linked data.
  • During my postdoc at Bolzano I was involved in the Quelo (Semantics-driven Information Access) project working on its Natural Language Interface.
  • I participated in the ALLEGRO (Intelligent Computer-assisted Language Learning) project (participants: INRIA Lorraine --Parole and Synalp teams--, Supelec Metz, Saarland University and DFKI). Demo video IFLEG game. My work on this project contributed to the development of Computer Assited Language Learning (CALL) tools based on Natural Language Processing, in particular, making use of Natural Language Generation techniques.
  • I collaborated with testing/evaluation of the Nancy NLG systems participating in the GIVE-2 (Generating Instructions in Virtual Environments) challenge. See publications
  • OWLSim is a Protégé Plugin for ontology alignment. This plug-in was developed as part of my research thesis work for the Computer Science MSc. It can be downloaded from here. Related publications are about the plugin and the GeoMergeP System where the plugin was used in the process of merging geographic sources.
