Prospective applicants are expected to have the following:

  • Research experience: this can be by holding a Master's degree, published scientific paper/s, or working in a research environment. Experience does not have to be in the same area of your PhD.
  • Software development skills: ability to program your ideas is essential for a PhD in informatics most of the time. High-level of software development skills is not required, however would be highly appreciated
