Jeremy Boyle

PhD Student

Jeremy is a PhD student on the Wellcome Trust Integrated Cell Mechanisms Programme. He graduated from the University of Bath studying Biology with Professional Placement, studying the pathogenesis and evolution of fungal pathogens. He worked on regulatory submissions for viral and antifungal drugs during his Professional Placement at Gilead Sciences. His project, working at Lynne Regan's and Beatriz Orosa’s labs in collaboration with our team, is an interdisciplinary project combining quantitative modelling, protein engineering and plant science to engineer the ubiquitin-proteasome resistance to generate novel resistance against cereal rust pathogens.
