Funded PhD studentship in 2P imaging and data analysis available

We are looking for PhD student interested in performing in vivo 2-photon imaging in mouse models of autism spectrum disorder/intellectual disability. The aim of this project is to characterise the effects of mutations underlying these disorders on cortical population activity, and how these changes can potentially be reversed by pharmacological treatments. The project will be supervised jointly by Nathalie Rochefort, Peter Kind and myself. We are particularly looking for candidates with both experimental and data analysis skills.

The project will be funded by the DTP in Precision Medicine, which offers attractive training opportunities. Note that only EU citiczens are eligible for this programme.
